This swivel shaft is made from 174-PH stainless steel and is heat treated for maximum strength. This stainless has corrosion resistance of a 304 stainless steel. By using this shaft, the life of your gimbal ring and gimbal housing seal will be greatly increased. This shaft replaces OEM 98230-A1.

Don't be fooled by cheap imported shafts made of 304 soft stainless. Cheap shafts range from $30-$130. 304 stainless is to soft for this application!
